    We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data Science and Analytics team.

    As a Senior Data Analyst, you will translate data into insights and drive improvements to our product, operations, and strategy.

    You will focus on the consumer side of our marketplace studying user behavior and contribute to our vision for the rising number of data products we are launching.

    The Data Science and Analytics team provides support across all of our products and operations by developing insights and enabling analytical and automated decision making.

    We build strong partnerships with key stakeholders and foster a data-driven culture in which analytical insights guide continuous improvements across the organization .

    You will join a team of experienced analysts and be a part of a fast-growing, collaborative, agile data team which fosters a culture of impact and performance, with ample opportunities for ownership and growth.

    You will report to the manager of the Data Science and Analytics Team.
    This is a full time hybrid role, with in office attendance required 3 days a week. The role is based in our New York office.
    Be a strategic partner to product and business leaders and help drive the right business and product decisions; proactively identify and champion projects that solace complex problems across multiple domains
    Identify, implement, monitor, and report on team-wide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
    Ship data products that improve our understanding of the art market, Artsy's marketplace, and how to best serve our collectors and partners
    Work with stakeholders to instrument proper tracking and define new data models, design and implement data pipelines
    Design and report on A/B tests using rigorous hypothesis testing methods
    Apply statistical and machine learning models (ie. Regressions, Clustering, Random Forest, Natural Language Processing, etc.) Build data expertise, best practices and own data quality for all analytical data needs
    You have previous experience spanning product analytics, data analytics and data science, and are proficient in SQL and statistical programming in Python
    You have experience leading cross-functional projects end-to-end successfully and in a timely manner
    You know that data doesn't fall from the sky in .You know that there's a backstory to any data point, so you're not afraid to dig deep to understand your raw material
    Experience with rapid product development for a consumer facing tech company and domain experience in e-commerce, marketing or SaaS is preferred and directly transferable to our environment at Artsy
