**Trainee Estimator

Salary up to £24,000 DOE
Permanent**Arden Personnel is exclusively working for a great business based in Bromsgrove. This is a Trainee role and the company will help train and develop you to become a key member of the sales and estimating team.

As a Trainee Estimator, your main responsibilities will be;

Ensure that customer enquiries are handled in a timely and professional manner. Provide costing information in line with company guidelines.
All estimates and quotations to be produced using the company's bespoke software estimating system.
To negotiate with new and existing customers on new and quoted projects and secure the business in line with sales and margin targets agreed.
To develop a good relationship with new and existing customers by maintaining regular contact.
To contribute to a smooth and successful sales to contracts handover process including the provision of clear costing and technical information.
Maintain correct paper and paperless records for Contracts ensuring that correspondence is accessible at the earliest opportunity.
Maintain and update social media in line with information provided by the business.

To be considered for our Trainee Estimator role;

No specific qualifications are required but a good level of English language, mathematics, and IT skills, level 6 and above, or equivalent.
Ability to demonstrate a high level of communication skills.

Ability to interpret customer requirements from construction industry drawings and text.
Experience working in a contracting or similar environment
A current clean driving license is required.
