    Job Summary

    We are thrilled to offer you this fantastic chance to work in a clinical setting while also supporting the Service Lead OT administratively. Gwelfor is a specialized 18-bed Rehabilitation Unit at Cefn Coed Hospital, catering to male mental health patients. As a Band 4 Occupational Therapy Technical Instructor, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch service under the guidance of qualified therapists and a supportive team. We're looking for someone enthusiastic, hard-working, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. If you have great communication skills and can also handle administrative tasks for the Service Lead OT, we want you on our team. Successful candidates will receive clinical supervision, support for further qualifications, and in-service training, making this role both rewarding and dynamic.

    The team focuses on supporting service users' occupational function throughout their recovery journey. We welcome applications from motivated individuals interested in joining our esteemed Occupational Therapy Team.

    Main Duties of the Job

    • Assessment, treatment, and intervention provision
    • Utilize technical and creative skills for therapeutic occupations
    • Task prioritization
    • Work across various sites including community, patient homes, and third-sector services
    • Provide administrative assistance to the Service Lead OT

    The ability to speak Welsh is preferred, but we welcome both English and Welsh speakers to apply.
