NHS Borders Occupational Health department provide services to NHS Borders employees.
We are currently looking for an Occupational Health Staff Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. This is a challenging role and you will be required to work flexibly to meet the changing needs of clients and be able to cope in a busy environment.
You will be capable of working on your own, as well as part of a team, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Be IT literate with good organisational and time management skills.
This post will be based in Melrose but travel across the Scottish Borders and beyond when necessary is expected (a full driving licence is required). There may be occasional out-of-hours working.
The work will involve undertaking health surveillance, pre-employment screening, vaccination programmes and other staff health and wellbeing activities.
