    Description

    As a rapidlygrowing startup were looking fora creative and enthusiastic Sales Development Representative toassist with our sales and marketing strategy engage with newprospective customers and directly contribute to revenue growth byexpanding our existing customer base.

    Yourimportant contribution will help build the sales pipeline and findnew avenues for growth.

    Our ideal candidate willhave a background or education in the legal profession integratedwith B2B Sales experience such as cold calling outbounding and CRMmanagement.

    This role will help you acquirebusiness acumen and strong interpersonal skills and provide youwith knowledge of both the legal and technology industries.Ultimately you will gain broad experience in business developmentin a fastpaced startup environment. You wouldbe:

    • Learning our product back tofront
    • Conducting sales activities (e.g.sourcing leads preparing and delivering client pitches completingformal proposal documents for prospective clients and deliveringproduct demos)
    • Supporting the Sales team indaily tasks (listbuilding creation of sales materials contractreview)
    • Performing market analysis and researchon the competition
    • Updating our customerrelationship management systems likeHubspot

    • Source new potentialcustomer leads through market research
    • Identifykey decision makers and stakeholders at prospectiveaccounts
    • Initiate contact with new leadsthrough calls emails social mediaoutreach
    • Schedule product demonstrations andpitches with qualified leads
    • Track lead statusand activity in CRM and marketing automationsystems

    SalesProcess

    • Prepare and deliver salespitches tailored to prospect needs
    • Presentproduct demonstrations to communicate valuepropositions
    • Manage opportunities throughentire sales cycle from lead to close
    • Completeand submit formal proposals in response toRFPs/RFIs
    • Overcome prospect objections andnegotiate deal terms

    SalesEnablement and Support

    • Masterextensive knowledge of product offerings and marketlandscape
    • Assist growth team with salesprojects and daily tasks as needed
    • Create salesmaterials update lists/databases to support broaderteam
    • Conduct market research and analysis oncompetitors
    • Provide feedback on competitivelandscape and prospectneeds

    Customer RelationshipManagement

    • Record all salesactivities and prospect interactions inCRM
    • Cultivate and nurture relationships withcurrent and prospective clients
    • Manage newclient onboarding process and initialrampup
    • Collaborate with customer success onaccount management

    Performance andReporting

    • Contribute directly tooverall revenue targets and salesquotas
    • Identify new potential opportunities formarket expansion and revenue growth
    • Analysepersonal and team pipeline and funnelmetrics
    • Deliver timely forecasts and salesreports to sales leadership
    • Continually refineand optimise sales process for betterefficiency

    PersonSpecification

    The candidate whowould be successful in this role would have the following essentialskills:

    • A deep understanding of thelegal profession this could include an education in law working asa paralegal or lawyer or working in legal supportfields
    • Previous B2B sales experience includingthe use of CRMs such as Hubspot. This should include consistentoutbounding cold calling and emailoutreach.
    • Excellent communication presentationand negotiation skills especially where these skills have beenleveraged to deliver information to seniorstakeholders/VP/Csuite
    • Excellent businessacumen and interpersonal skills and the organisational ability todevelop and maintain relationships with the above mentionedstakeholders
    • Knowledge of and interest in salesstrategies and product positioning
    • A love oftechnology and how technology is disrupting incumbent businessmodels
    • A proven track record of beinggoaloriented with a demonstrated ability to selfmotivate and followthrough on projects
    • High attention todetail
    • A highly reliable work ethic: awillingness to contribute when needed even if the task isntstrictly in your job description
