Salary: £24,610 - £33,132 (Including the 5% uplift)

We are delighted to be recruiting a Work Ready Tutor to work with residents of HMP Coldingley, HMP Send and HMP Downview to develop their motivation and work-related skills, enabling them to move into employment, education, training, apprenticeship or volunteering upon release.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tutor with a passion for helping others, who wants to join an organisation that improves the lives of more than 300,000 individuals every year.

About You

You are:

A confident deliverer of highquality learning provision
Organised with excellent time management
Confident in building and maintaining effective internal and external relationships
An excellent communicator both written and verbal with a high level of accuracy in numeracy and literacy
An adaptable team player passionate about providing a consistently excellent service
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and quick to understand internal software packages.

Main Responsibilities

To work with participants developing their motivation and workrelated skills enabling them to move into employment, education, training, apprenticeship or volunteering on release.
Deliver the Work Ready employability programme to prison residents, differentiating the programme to reflect each participant needs and aspirations.
Adapt delivery and lesson plans to reflect changing circumstances in the prison, ensuring residents continue to receive inspirational and motivational support.
