We are currently looking for an Electrical / Controls Technician to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As our Electrical / Controls Technician, you will ensure our production plant continues to operate safely and efficiently.

Carrying out small works activities, which could include equipment replacement, component re-wiring, electrical installation and control panel modifications, you will ensure an uninterrupted production service is provided.

You will also assist with on-site testing and commissioning of new or modified systems, carry out risk assessments and generate method statements.

Additionally, you will co-ordinate and manage third party sub-contractors delivering services.

About You
To be considered as our Electrical / Controls Technician, you will need:

  • Experience in an industrial setting, either in a manufacturing environment or sub-contractor type role
  • Competence with fault finding and troubleshooting control systems
  • Knowledge of Automation Equipment such as Inverter Drives, Motor Control, Safety Systems, Pneumatics, etc.
  • An understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Please note, this role requires a working shift pattern.
