£49,000 + Shift allowance
We are seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's Manufacturing Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering fundamentals.

A key aspect of this role is to develop and implement long-term reliable solutions through thorough root cause analysis.

This position plays a crucial role in supporting upgrade and improvement projects to optimise equipment utilisation and efficiency, contributing to the company's growth.

Day to Day of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

Perform planned maintenance tasks autonomously to maximise machinery uptime and minimise disruption to production.
Provide proactive support for reactive maintenance tasks, working closely with the Engineering Manager to minimise production downtime.

Work on electrical installations up to 400V, process safety circuits, and electrical control circuits (PLC & VSD), adhering to health and safety standards.

Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to create and review risk assessments, SOPs, OPLs, and Preventative Maintenance Schedules.

Conduct proactive and effective fault diagnosis using mechanical and electrical root cause analysis to identify problems and determine solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer :

Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, both electrical and mechanical.
Experience with electrical installations and control circuits.
Ability to perform fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.
A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement.
