Class 1 Night Drivers - Sheffield, United Kingdom - Blue Arrow

Description

At Blue Arrow we are looking for reliable and proficient HGV Class 1 Drivers to navigate from South Yorkshire to Midlands Hubs for our prestigious client.

This is a regular work client however weekly shift amounts will fluctuate due to the nature of our clients business so flexibility to work between 1-6 shifts from Monday to Sunday would be beneficial.

The work is generally straight trunk runs with occasional collections on the way to the Hubs.


Pay rates are as follows:
Monday - Friday: £17.20ph and £23.44ph OT after 8 hours


Saturday:
£21.89ph all hours


Sunday:
£23.44ph all hours

Start times vary from 13:45 to 19:30.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As a LGV Category C+E Driver you will:

• Complete pre departure vehicle checks
• Transport goods between planned sites and drops
• Complete paperwork and follow compliance
• Adhere to tachograph and working times rules

Qualifications

In order to process your application, you must have the following:

• HGV Class 1 entitlement
• CPC
• Digi tacho card
• 1+ Year experience

As well as having 1 year experience you must be able to demonstrate on your tacho that you have been driving regular within the last 12 months.

We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR/DG/CD/DD/BA on a licence.
