We are looking for an enthusiastic Branch Assistant to join our team at a building materials distributor in East Kilbride
This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week.
This role is with a company in East Kilbride, part of a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe. They connect suppliers of heavy building materials with professional craftsmen who contribute to the cities of tomorrow.

What will I be doing in the role?
As a Branch Assistant, you will be an important contributor to the business's performance and ensuring a positive customer experience
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maximizing customer interactions to achieve sales and profit targets through upselling and crossselling.
- Handling stock bookings and general administrative tasks using internal IT systems.
- Building strong and effective relationships with customers and suppliers, managing feedback.
- Ensuring timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Serving customers on the trades counter.
- Managing stock and maintaining a clean and tidy branch.
