Pure are working with a well established company in Epping looking for an enthusiastic Management Accountant with experience in SQL The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing management accounts, analyzing financial data and working on ad hoc project/workflows set by the finance team.

The role requires a good understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical abilities, and general experience in SQL to extract and manipulate data.

Financial reporting:

Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, using SQL to extract data from various systems and databases where possible.

Ensuring the timely submission of the Management Accounts and other ad hoc tasks
Assist in the development and management of the budgets and forecasts by providing insightful analysis based on financial data.

Variance Analysis:

Conduct detailed analysis of the financial performance, identify trends, and investigate variances against budget, highlighting areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.

Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve reporting efficiencies by utilizing SQL to automate tasks and develop reporting tools.

Audit:
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and internal controls, and support audit activities as required.
Professional certification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) Qualified or Part Qualified
Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role, preferably in a fastpaced environment
Experience in extracting and manipulating large datasets from different platforms using SQL
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial analysis techniques
Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
