Colas and Iveco are currently looking for a Car Technician to join our successful and expanding Mechanical services team in Ringmer, to carry out compliance checks, maintenance and repairs on cars.
Whilst being a main dealer for Iveco Trucks, we also have contracts with East Sussex Fire and Rescue, the NHS and the Sussex and Surrey Police Force.
We also work with local operators and private customers so very diverse. We also have a large body repair and paint facility and a fabrication and welding department.Performing major and minor repairs to cars, vans and heavy goods vehicles, trailers and other vehicles in the company fleet and customers fleets
Keen awareness of health and safety, working safely and maintaining risk assessments with teams
Ability to perform well independently and with teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles
Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management
Providing in-house training to recruits and trainees to-date. Full driving license, LGV licence not essential but would be an advantage
