    Engineering Manager (UK&I)

    £85,000-£100,000 PLUS 15% BONUS AND car allowance/car

    UK Wide (flexible with travel to client sites)

    Outsource UK's client are a global bulk liquid storage and distribution firm who are looking to hire an experienced Engineering Manager to join their team.

    Key Responsibilities include:

    • Ensure existing assets, plant modifications and new installations are compliant with company policies, procedures, industry best practices and legal requirements.
    • Accountable for all technical decisions related to the integrity management and design of process plant and equipment such as: pipelines, pipework, storage tanks, pressure vessels, rotating equipment, containment systems, structures, cathodic protection, and electrical & utility systems.
    • Develop and review policies, strategies, standards, and key performance indicators to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
    • Manage engineering resources to ensure designs, scopes of work, multidisciplinary design reviews, technical bid analysis, MOC reviews and commissioning plans are developed/performed in accordance with agreed project schedules.
    • Manage engineering resources to ensure timeliness and quality of technical responses to Engineering Queries and preparation of Technical Instructions required by maintenance.
    • Validate the necessity and cost effectiveness of all Project OPEX and CAPEX investment works.

    Experience required:

    • Management of multidisciplinary engineering teams
    • Experience at a management level in a similar or larger organisation
    • Experience in a regulated industry (Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemical industry is desirable)
    • Experience in managing cross departmental projects
    • Management of budgets/budgeting
    • Experience / familiarity working with or managing engineers working to API 650/EN14015, EEMUA 159/API 653, BS7671, BS 60079, B31.3, PD 8010, API 570, API 610, API 520/521 & PD 5500, EN 13445 & ASME VIII
