    Server Engineer

    Permanent-full-time

    Salary – up to £60K basic per annum

    Location- Central London

    Hybrid working – 3 days in the office and 2 days remote working

    Stott and May are currently working with a dynamic Digital Advertising Company who are looking to grow their team.

    As a Server Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable server solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    Designing and deploying server architectures to support the company's applications and services.

    Configuring and optimizing server hardware and software for performance and efficiency.

    Monitoring server performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to ensure uptime and availability.

    Implementing security best practices to protect server infrastructure from potential threats and vulnerabilities.

    Collaborating with software engineers and system administrators to integrate server solutions into existing systems.

    Documenting server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and future reference.

    Key Skills

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    Proven experience working as a Server Engineer or in a similar role.

    In-depth knowledge of server hardware, operating systems

    Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

    Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex server issues.

    Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
