- Develop robust, scalable, and maintainable Python applications tailored to the needs of our insurance operations.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Working with Product team to integrate financial products of external clients, manage data flows, source market data and analyse financial algorithms.
- Utilize Pandas for data processing, transformation, and analysis tasks, ensuring high performance and accuracy.
- Implement data pipelines for ingesting, cleansing, and transforming large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation and optimization, driving efficiency and effectiveness in insurance processes.
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in Python, Airflow, pandas, and data engineering, and incorporate them into our development practices.
- Proven experience as a Python Developer, with a strong focus on data processing and analytics.
- Solid understanding of pandas for data manipulation and analysis in big data environments.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating relational databases.
- Strong Airflow experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous.
