    Electrical Maintenance Technician - Leeds

    The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon is fundamental to our operations – they're the ones keeping vital machinery running at all times.

    You'll help to keep your colleagues safe and prevent machine downtime. Our RME Technicians boost the availability and quality of our equipment and work to enhance the operational environment too.
    Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
    Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
    Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices
    Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites

    You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to make sure it's working safely.

    You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements.

    Working alongside senior colleagues, you'll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks like painting and plumbing and will liaise with contractors if you need external expertise.

    You'll work on a range of shifts to make sure our sites are supported around the clock – allowing Amazon to deliver at the speed we're known for.

    The team is the foundation of our business and its efforts have helped us diversify across new regions and services.

    With the help of emerging technology, we're always looking for ways to offer a bigger, better product range – delivered quickly and affordably.

    The CF team are the first people in the chain that helps customers get products at the speed we're known for.

    We're based in Fulfilment Centres, which are at the heart of Amazon's fast-paced Operations network. We help to manage dynamic inventory and facilitate speedy deliveries round the clock.

    Some of us work with physical products, while others analyse data to help everyone across the business make smart decisions.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS-NVQ Level 3 (or international equivalent) in an engineering discipline or another practical engineering qualification

    • Relevant experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
    • Advanced proficiency in the local language verbally and in writing
