Description
As an Apprentice you will be based, as a paid employee, within BCHC.

Whilst you will be allocated to one specific area, you will experience working across both internal and external placements in partnership with local acute & community Trusts in the Birmingham & Solihull area to gain an appreciation of the different areas of local healthcare service and meet the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) requirements.


Ordinarily, attendance is expected one day per week at University with the remaining days of the week at the work base.

You will also have some time on clinical placement within other Trusts / clinical areas.

On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will be able to join the HCPC register as a registered AHP

  • Applications are welcomed from those aged 18 years or over
  • Internal applicants will be seconded to this post.

Minimum academic requirements:


  • Level 2 orGCSE/IGCSE maths, English language and science grades A*C/94.
Registered Physiotherapy posts will be offered to Apprentices, on successful completion of the course and registration with HCPC.
