In this role, you will engage in one-on-one and small group sessions, catering to children with EHCPs under the guidance of the teacher.

Your responsibilities extend beyond the classroom to ensure a supportive and enriching environment for all.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

Familiarity with and adherence to all school policies and procedures.
Contribute to the preparation and creative design of room displays with mínimal supervision.
Uphold and promote high standards of behaviour across the school, actively supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social development needs.
Implement effective behaviour management strategies, address conflicts promptly, and report incidents in accordance with school policies.
Maintain accurate records in the School Management Information System (MIS) and CPOMs, providing essential information about students and concerns.
Embrace and support the school's ethos while ensuring a safe environment for all.
Collaborate with teachers in supervising pupils during outdoor activities and trips.
Assist in assessing pupil attainment and progress, aiding in the development and preparation of curriculum activities and materials.
Provide coverage during lunch and break times.
Support assigned individuals and group work to enhance core skills.
Attend and actively participate in weekly staff meetings, contributing valuable insights to the team.
Adhere to policies and procedures related to child protection, safeguarding, health and safety, security, and data protection.
Promptly report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications Required:
Level 2 in Education or equivalent.

Salary:
£81.59

Hours: 8.45am - 3.30pm (1.15pm Friday)
