In this role, you will engage in one-on-one and small group sessions, catering to children with EHCPs under the guidance of the teacher.

Your responsibilities extend beyond the classroom to ensure a supportive and enriching environment for all.


Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with and adherence to all school policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to the preparation and creative design of room displays with mínimal supervision.
  • Uphold and promote high standards of behaviour across the school, actively supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social development needs.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies, address conflicts promptly, and report incidents in accordance with school policies.
  • Maintain accurate records in the School Management Information System (MIS) and CPOMs, providing essential information about students and concerns.
  • Embrace and support the school's ethos while ensuring a safe environment for all.
  • Collaborate with teachers in supervising pupils during outdoor activities and trips.
  • Assist in assessing pupil attainment and progress, aiding in the development and preparation of curriculum activities and materials.
  • Provide coverage during lunch and break times.
  • Support assigned individuals and group work to enhance core skills.
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly staff meetings, contributing valuable insights to the team.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures related to child protection, safeguarding, health and safety, security, and data protection.
  • Promptly report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications Required:
Level 2 in Education or equivalent.

£81.59


Hours: 8.45am - 3.30pm (1.15pm Friday)
