Our client is a leading figurehead in the UK food sector, with an unparalleled pedigree dating back to the early 18th century. They are currently seeking a Food Specifications Technologist to join their team.
Job Role - Hygiene Technologist (Pest Management)
Reporting to the Site Technical Services Manager the Hygiene Technologist shall support the development, implementation, and adherence to the Hygiene Management system with emphasis on managing pests on site.
Duties - Hygiene Technologist (Pest Management)
• Provide the site with expert knowledge in pest management and be the site liaison for all pest sightings.
• Support the development, implementation, and adherence to the site hygiene management system.
• Responsible for ensuring the site complies with legislation, customer requirements and group policies pertaining to pest management.
• Responsible for all pest management audits and non-conformance management.
• Use knowledge, gather data, run reports, and analyse trends creating IT based solutions where applicable.
Experience/Qualifications – Hygiene Technologist (Pest Management)
• Industry recognised qualification in pest management i.e. RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management.
• Intermediate level – HACCP.
• Qualification in Food Science, Quality and Hygiene.
Candidates who are currently a Pest Control Technician, Health & Safety Officer, Hygiene Technician, Pest Control Project Manager, Pest Control Specialist and Pest Management Technician could be suitable for this role.
