    Job DescriptionJob Title:

    Quality EngineerLocation:
    GlasgowReporting to: Quality ManagerResponsibilities:Assist in developing and maintaining the Integrated Management System for the project.
    Review subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
    Conduct quality audits and system reviews to assess compliance and effectiveness.
    Monitor on-site quality control activities to verify compliance.
    Attend and contribute to quarterly quality forums, presenting on various quality topics.
    Track and manage non-conformities, corrective actions, and audit reports.
    Participate in project design reviews to ensure quality requirements are met.
    Identify and communicate lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
    Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to quality.
    Gather and compile quality-related data for monthly project reporting.
    Act as a substitute for the Quality Manager when needed.
    Conduct quality inductions and provide training to project employees.
    Maintain communication with third-party representatives as necessary.


    Outputs:
    Document findings and recommendations from audits and system reviews.
    Report on the status of subcontractor documentation.
    Provide updates on on-site quality activities to relevant stakeholders.
    Presentations to subcontractor quality representatives at the quarterly quality forum.
    Update and manage the register for continuous improvement.
    Submit key performance indicators and quality-related information for monthly reporting.
    Maintain records of quality inductions and training sessions.
    This role ensures the implementation and maintenance of quality standards and processes throughout the project lifecycle.
    QualificationsQualifications EssentialGeneral High School EducationONC/HNC in Engineering discipline.
    Associate Member CQICCNSG Safety PassportAuditor QualificationPreferredAcademic, or vocational qualification i.e. ONC/HNC/HND (preferably in a related subject) or equivalent, significant, and related professional experience.
    Accredited training qualifying towards registration (e.g. Practitioner Member) of a recognized professional institution (e.g. CQI) would be preferred.

    IOSH Managing SafelyLead Auditor QualificationVisual Welding Inspection QualificationExperience3-5 years' experience in a Quality functional role within Delivery Operations-Service MRO/ Project Delivery and/or Energy/ Manufacturing/Defence IndustryProven track record in large scale projects in the nuclear or similar regulated sector, including major EPC projects.

    Experienced in delivering and operating at a Leadership LevelExperienced in working in a Joint Venture or Alliance environment.
    Additional InformationDue to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance.
