    Job Description

    The 1st Line Support Engineer role is responsible for providing 1st line support remotely and onsite to our Clients. You will fix what you can and escalate more complex issues to the relevant support channels within the ICT Department following our internal escalation processes and procedures. This role will be primarily based at one of our Secondary Schools, however there will be instances where you will be required to work at our other schools across Kirklees and Calderdale.

    Working in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, the ideal candidate will have experience working as a 1st Line Support Engineer with the ability to build key internal and external relationships.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • First line Ticket support - Path of Escalation to level 2
  • User account password resets (where staff cannot self-serve reset)
  • Lesson and Assembly equipment management
  • Audio Visual Hall and Classroom troubleshooting
  • Inventory of Hardware / PCs / Projectors / Laptops / Tablets
  • Equipment Bookings
  • Scheduled Projector Maintenance
  • Endpoint setup and deployment / OS Upgrades / Software Deployments
  • Website Updates
  • Digital signage content management
