    systems of work (Control of Work/Permit to Work) and all recommended safe working practices
    Actively participate in thorough pre-job risk assessments for all non-routine activities and confirm that they are accurately reflected in the resultant Permit to Work
    Ensure all personnel in proximity of works are fully aware of planned works, associated risks and control/mitigation measures in place
    Under direction, support performance and condition monitoring and assessment
    Undertake planned and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, ensuring any work carried out is in compliance with company procedures
    Ensure equipment and systems are reinstated to required condition and performance
    Support diagnostic activities and analysis to rectify faults
    Electrical Apprenticeship
    ~ Appropriate vocational qualifications or certification in electrical maintenance
    ~ IRATA Level 1 Rope Access certification
    ~5 years previous experience in the oil and gas/petrochemical industry in a similar or equivalent role
    ~ site specific electrical competence (CEP)
    ~ electrical equipment in hazardous areas (CompEx)
    ~ authorised safeguarding systems testing
    ~ Good awareness of work planning and scheduling
    ~ Familiarity of CMMS – SAP or equivalent work management system
    ~ Good understanding of electrical safety rules and regulations
    ~ First Aid training (including CPR)
    ~ Good communicator, accurately relates information, uses active listening to ensure own understanding and is comfortable with written, spoken or electronic media
    ~ Actively demonstrates commitment to higher performance standards
    ~ Has good problem solving skills, corrective action planning and follow-up

    Certifications and Training Requirements
    Offshore Survival (BOSIET/FOET)
    Offshore Medical (OGUK)
    Additional medical certification as required by IRATA
