Description
We are currently working with a very well-known Engineering company based in Gateshead. We are currently looking to recruit for several Press Setter Operatives.

You will work across two shifts (early & backs) Monday to Thursday /

  • Experience and knowledge of working on Press machines.
  • Ability to use general measuring equipment etc
  • Be familiar with power press ranging from 90 Ton to 200 ton


You must be able to work independently which will include the changing of tooling, the setting of machine, operating the machine and checking parts.

Knowledge of working to and understanding drawings is desirable.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm


Salary:
£10.50-£11.50 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Gateshead, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Press Brake Operator: 1 year (preferred)
