Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the high performing Counter Fraud Unit within the Commercial Claims team based in our Manchester office.


Managing a caseload of Commercial Claims, referred by our operational teams, you will be responsible for the end-to-end handling of a range of claims, investigating liability, negotiating settlement and making decisions on which are allowed to litigate.


Once successful training plans are complete, you will have a hybrid working pattern with a mixture of office & home-based working.


Responsibilities
The Counter Fraud Unit covers the whole Commercial Claims department, Liability Claims and Commercial Property. The Liability Claims department handle liability injury and liability damage claims up to a value of £100,000. The Commercial Property team handle first party property claims.


You will be responsible for reviewing claims referred into the team to determine whether they should be retained for further investigation or not.

Where appropriate you will negotiate settlement of claims, ensuring the best possible outcome for our customers and business.

There is also the opportunity to gain professional qualifications, including Cert CII & above.

The Individual

  • Current experience of working in an insurance counter fraud environment
  • Ability to provide market insight into current fraud trends
  • Someone who is always willing to work with & support others
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
