An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Finance/Commissioning Team to work as a Finance Officer within the Social Services Directorate on a full-time, temporary basis.

Funding is secured in the first instance to 31st March 2025 by Welsh Government Eliminate and Radical Reform grant funding.

As a Finance Officer, you will be required to provide financial advice and guidance to managers within the Directorate specifically providing support for the grant programmes in the service area.

You will support the team with an efficient and progressive service and assist with the organisation and delivery of all the administrative and financial support functions of the service area.

You will assist in organising, presenting and processing of financial information to support the operational delivery within service areas including budget preparation/monitoring and closure of accounts.

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic finance professional who is highly committed and self-motivated.
