Job description

  • The Centre for Medical Education, School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences (MDBS) at Queen's University Belfast, is currently seeking to appoint a Data Support Officer.
  • Working as part of a team, the postholder will contribute to supporting core business activities by providing support for systems configuration, record lifecycle activities, issue resolution, request fulfilment, problem management, project support, documentation and testing.
  • The postholder will be responsible for the acquisition, importation, maintenance and extraction of data across operational systems supporting the Centre, and producing reports to assist delivery and forecasting of clinical teaching models.**
  • Academic and/or vocational qualifications, i.e. NVQ Level 3, A levels (or equivalent); OR substantial relevant experience.
  • 4 years' relevant experience, to include:
  • Excellent IT skills including experience of Office software (data analysis/interrogation using spreadsheets, Excel pivot tables, databases)
  • Experience in working as part of support teaM/Function with operational understanding support processes e.g. Incident Management, Problem Management.
  • This is a permanent, full time position.
