As Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, optimisation and specifications of manufacturing processes to meet the divisional growth and requirements in the Healthcare Industry.

Develop and optimises process improvements on existing equipment to improve efficiencies and productivity, and to ensure that annual budget and objectives are achieved.

Your Key Responsibilities

Plan, specify and implement improvements to existing processes to improve productivity and efficiency. Prepare implementation schedules and ensure programmes are successfully initiated and completed within planned time frames.
Develop new processing technologies to meet the potential manufacturing requirements for sales growth in the marketplace. Liaises with R&D and other BD Plants to ensure maximisation of all opportunities in process improvements.
Prepare Plant layout for existing processes or changes to processes as necessary due to changing manufacturing requirements.
Design and arrange manufacture of any tooling requirements for the process.
Prepare accurate schedules and cost estimates for all programmes associated with manufacturing improvements. Liaise with Facilities Engineering for service and utility requirements.

Communicate with other global BD Plants to exchange and share technical knowledge that is potentially advantageous to provide cost reductions and efficiency improvements.

Ensures that any statutory legislation/obligation is adhered to with regard to process changes including Quality Change Control procedures are met.
