- Fully qualified Maintenance Engineer, having experience in an Engineering or Maintenance role previously Electrically or Mechanically
- You can demonstrate effective fault diagnostic and have excellent problem solving skills
- Experience in autonomous maintenance practices, with a demonstrable background within a maintenance environment
- You will have worked in a fast paced, multi shift environment previously
- A focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft tools, in particular Excel
- Good IT skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good communicator – written and verbal.

About the role
Here at our DS Smith Lockerbie site, we are looking for a Electrical Bias Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in the ongoing development and maintenance of our site whilst supporting the operations team.
In this role you'll be responsible for conducting, communicating and recording all routine preventive and reactive asset maintenance to ensure safe operation and equipment reliability to meet production demands. You will ensure work is completed safely according to company and legislative standards, to the required quality and workmanship in the time allotted. Your role will support the day-based Engineering Team as required as well as your shift colleagues, promoting Health and Safety, Regulatory Compliance, Good Manufacturing Practices and Continuous Improvement projects across the site.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working closely with the management team to develop risk assessment, adhere to safe systems of work processes and deliver objective and performance targets.
The shift pattern is currently: - 12hr Shifts - 3 on 3 off Days / Nights
