    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Brand PR team focussing on building our earned visibility beyond the usual automotive channels – working with creative consumer PR agency
    • Be responsible for the development and delivery of the strategic Brand PR plan – including all activations and events
    • Manage all HMUK CSR programmes & partnerships to include the Great British School Trip, Healthy Seas and Tate
    • Proactively research and pitch corporate and brand stories with relevant media and influencers under the direction of Head of PR
    • Work closely with Head of PR, marketing department and agency on the development and delivery of impactful consumer PR campaigns – for example the innovative Hotel Hyundai and Village 2 Life campaigns
    • Responsible for the development, approval and delivery of all materials and assets related to the Brand PR plan
    • Be responsible for working with media monitoring agency Cision and our European team to improve overall department media measurement and reporting
    • Be responsible for delivering regular employee news updates (monthly)
    • Respond to incoming media enquiries and respond accurately and promptly
    • To professionally represent Hyundai Motor UK at both media drive events (where relevant) and brand activations (including CSV) both in the UK and abroad
    • Work closely with Head of Product & Technical PR to ensure complete alignment on relevant communications strategies
    • Develop strong working relationships internally as well as within the broader global business and work cross-functionally with Product PR team as well as other departments across the UK business
    • Help maintain relationships between Hyundai and some of the most influential outlets across the UK as well as helping to establish new relationships – working as an ambassador for the brand
    • Keep up-to-date with developments in AI, measurement and best-practice brand activations and be empowered to lead creative agency briefing

    About you:

    • A strong consumer / brand communications background or 5 years of in house or agency PR experience
    • Self-motivated and conscientious manager with experience
    • Can demonstrate strategic communication experience with results
    • Experience of Event Management & Organisation
    • Written excellence and experience of working with Senior Level executives
    • Commercially astute and be able to represent business at a senior level externally as well as internally
    • Prior budget management experience
    • Strong stakeholder management/relationship building skills
    • Presentation Skills
    • Ability and experience of managing agency delivery
