    Purpose of the Post:
    To provide administrative support to the Integrated Vulnerable Persons Model.


    Duties and Responsibilities:


    1Undertake a range of tasks e.g., reception duties, answering telephone, face to face enquiries, liaising with relevant staff, dealing with visitors, and dealing with routine unexpected problems and situations within the service.

    2Provide general clerical/ admin, support e.g. photocopying, filing, completion of standard forms, responding to routine correspondence.

    3Set up and maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems or service specific management information systems.

    4Sort and distribute mail.

    5Undertake administrative procedures (e.g. reconciliation and processing orders, invoices etc.).

    6Planning and scheduling of events /appointments.

    7Operate relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g. electronic social care database, Word, excel, spreadsheets, internet).

    8Maintain stock and supplies, ordering of stationary and other supplies.

    9Undertake general financial administration e.g. processing orders.

    10Be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to the job holders area of work.

    11Where appropriate provide supervision for other staff carrying out routine administrative tasks.

    12Demonstrate duties and allocate work to other members of staff.

    13Support the role of other professionals.

    14Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required.

    15Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.

    16Contribute to the overall ethos of the council.

    17To undertake duties and responsibilities in accordance with the councils policy and procedures.

    18Be willing to work flexible hours, some of which may be unsociable.
