    Are you a Rural Surveyor looking for a new opportunity?

    If so, we're looking for a Senior Surveyor to join our Rural Diversification and Planning team The successful applicant will be a productive and profitable fee earner, specialising in the area of Rural Diversification and Planning as well as private estates and client work.

    The Rural team at Bidwells manages, consults, and offers strategic advice on over a million acres of farmland and estates across the country, working with some of the UK's top-performing rural businesses and landowners including Cambridge and Oxford colleges, pension funds, charities and companies.

    Within the diversification team, you will support our clients in exploring and gaining, the best return on their assets.

    This could be through obtaining planning permission for the development of farm buildings and land as well as the change of building use.

    The team also regularly perform estate strategy reviews and partner with private clients, colleges, institutions and councils on such duties.

    Our Cambridge office is home to our biggest rural team across our 11 sites and is one of the largest rural teams in the UK.

    Within the 60 strong team there is a vast array of knowledge coming from graduates through to equity partners. We pride ourselves on the progression and development we offer our people and within Rural, this is no exception.

    The team specialise in estate and farm strategy and management, professional work, diversification, rural agency, and natural capital and biodiversity net gain.

    You will get the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects for some fascinating clients.

    You'll be primarily involved with Rural Diversification and Planning projects, with the opportunity to be the job lead on projects.

    Other types of professional work instructions including, valuations, strategy reviews, grant sourcing, business plans, compulsory purchase/utility schemes, landlord and tenant matters, farm and rural estate agency, farmland investment and development schemes
    # Working on Estate and Farm strategy and management e.g. whole estate strategy, preparation of tenancy agreements and budgets; inspections, analysing and processing data
    # Developing and maintaining regular contact with clients to develop and sustain long term relationships
    # Experience in Rural Diversification and Planning
    Excellent business writing skills
    Friendly and professional approach, good networking abilities
