One of our client schools in
Southampton is searching for a compassionate Teaching Assistant (
TA) to join their
pupil support team on a
full-time basis.

We are searching for a
proactive and
resilient individual to help
mentor,
support and
nurture the pupils, to help
minimise this pressure and offer ongoing
guidance and
reassurance.

What is required of you?

Modifying learning materials to suit individual needs
Deliver engaging activities for 1:1 tasks
Classroom organisation and preparation
Safeguarding
1:1 emotional and intellectual support
Help children dissolve learning barriers and achieve new goals
Providing accessible resources
Emotional support
Behaviour management

What you need to be considered?

Minimum of 1 year classroom experience
Knowledge of successful behaviour management techniques
Availability to start a fulltime role ASAP
A genuine desire to support young children
Good communication skills
Resilience & Compassion
