    Job Title: Psychologically Informed Consultation and Training Team Member

The Psychologically Informed Consultation and Training Team (PICT) was created to back this pathway by providing specialized training, consultation, and supervision to staff, aiming to enhance the experience of individuals with complex emotional needs or personality disorders.

    The PICT assists colleagues across various Trust departments, including inpatient services, community teams, and partner agencies. They are hunting for the perfect candidate to join and contribute to their PICT team, a role where experienced psychologists and psychotherapists will collaborate with lived experience practitioners.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Support and guide staff, services, and agencies to work in effective ways that help service users meet their goals and enhance recovery outcomes.
    • Provide specialized psychological advice, consultation, and supervision for clients with complex psychological needs related to EUPD.
    • Deliver post-qualification teaching and training to clinicians, including clinical psychologists, for their provision of psychologically-based interventions.
    • Lead project management activities to aid in service development and improvement for clients and their families.

    Job Requirements:

    The Essentials for this Role:

    • Must be an innovative clinical psychologist or psychotherapist
    • Post-qualification training in DBT, MBT, or SCM
    • Proven track record in working with individuals with complex needs, particularly with personality disorders
    • Enjoy collaborating with colleagues to empower individuals with EUPD towards positive outcomes
    • Experience in training, supervising, and consulting to enhance outcomes
    • Belief in revolutionizing how this group of individuals are managed within mental health services

    Joining PICT means becoming part of the IMPACTT branch, with a focus on DBT, MBT, and providing support for service users, all overseen by the IMPACTT/PICT Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

    Educational Requirements:

    • Doctoral qualification in clinical psychology or equivalent
    • HCPC accreditation
    • Membership with BPS and Chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychology
    • Training experience in clinical supervision

    Experience Required:

    • Extensive background working with individuals with personality disorders like EUPD
    • Experience in multidisciplinary teams and multi-agency settings
    • Strong teaching, supervision, and training skills
    • Expertise in managing complex situations and care planning

    Skills and Competencies:

    • In-depth knowledge of adult personality disorders assessment and interventions
    • Effective time management and pressure handling abilities
    • Understanding of service evaluation and change implementation
    • Proficiency in research design and IT
