Job Purpose Statement
Where you'll fit in & what our team goals are...
Lead on large complex business change initiates for the investments function. Determine business needs and requirements through consultation, documentation, process and work-flow analysis. Coordinate and manage implementation of strategic objectives for ColumbiaThreadneedle. Support the expansion of a strategic business analysis capability within the business change function.

Role Responsibilities

How you'll spend your time
:


  • Conduct research to determine if solutions to business requirements currently exist within or outside of the existing business architecture and determine whether new solutions are feasible. Drive large/complex business process improvements and initiativesthat support operational excellence, productivity enhancements, growth, or other key initiatives.
  • Build relationships with business leaders to understand business objectives and priorities. Partner with business leaders to ensure that strategic objectives are delivered.
  • Support the delivery of project objectives by ensuring that delivery is aligned to standards and processes, with provision of strong estimates and risk management. Support the business in understanding complex ideas and solutions through the provision ofhigh quality documentation and stakeholder communication.
  • Provide outstanding people leadership through effective coaching, mentoring, training and sound performance management practices. Act as champion for the team and intervene on matters that create roadblocks to individual or organizational success.
  • Maintain knowledge of new developments in business process improvement methodology and data analysis, including learning from other market leaders and industries. Educate others on changes in the industry and organization.

Key Capabilities

To be successful in this role you will have
:


  • Additional knowledge, skills, experience, or training.
  • Substantial knowledge of front office investment process within the asset management industry.
  • Proven experience of supporting front office professionals through change initiatives.
  • Extensive quantitative and analytical skills with experience in process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability in integrating business knowledge with analytical insight.
  • Ability to influence across organization, motivate and negotiate with senior leaders and corporate office partners.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, ability to analyze data and recommend solutions.
  • Must have significant experience of working on Front office projects as a Business Analyst
  • Demonstrate organisational and leadership capabilities
