- Implement Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Analytics plans to analyze insurance and reinsurance data from different sources to increase programme governance and inform underwriting and reserving decisions
- Research and evaluate operational processes. Use Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analysis & Analytics applications to automate insurance and reinsurance processes and enhance business decision making capabilities.
- Consolidate internal and external data sets and conduct respective (management) reporting
- Assist in implementing policies and procedures regarding collating and analyzing data, develop new data analysis processes and assess analytics on an ongoing basis
- Apply mathematics, statistics, predictive modeling / machine-learning techniques to identify patterns, knowledge in recorded data or develop predictive, real-time model-based insights for accounting and underwriting decision-making purposes
- Support in communicating information effectively to a wide group of stakeholders, including senior management, conveying technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Apply best practices for BI, data warehousing, and data governance and provide inputs that affect the functional area of responsibility
- Draft plans determining which Business Intelligence (BI) Data Analysis & Analytics solutions will enable the enterprise to achieve defined business goals
- Contribute to the development and maintain IRM EB H&Ws data repository/intranet SharePoint consisting of training materials and dashboards for DHL Group stakeholders
- 2+ year operating within Insurance or Economic environment
- Bachelor degree
- Experience of cross border collaboration
- Ability to collaborate and network effectively within a demanding culturally diverse matrix organization
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Internal and external customer relationship skills experience
- Working with diverse and complex stakeholders from different business units
