TSW Training is an award winning training provider based in Bridgend delivering apprenticeship programmes throughout South Wales. Following a period of sustained growth we are currently undertaking a restructure creating numerous new positions with the organisation.
TSW Training are looking to recruit a NVQ assessor/training advisor to deliver apprenticeships in Team Leading and Management from level 2 to 5.
The key duties of the role are:
- Recruit apprentices onto appropriate learning programmes in line with contractual eligibility requirements.
- Undertake effective initial assessment of apprentice needs and potential.
- Work with apprentices and employers to develop and implement individual learning plans which meet their needs.
- Deliver high quality teaching, learning, and assessment to all apprentices.
- Support the development of literacy, numeracy, digital literacy and Welsh language skills of apprentices.
- Manage a caseload of apprentices, ensuring high levels of engagement with all aspects of the apprenticeship framework through a minimum of monthly visits.
- Undertake progress reviews with apprentices and employers in line with quality and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate learning and assessment records via eportfolio in line with internal and external requirements.
- Support apprentices to complete apprenticeship programmes within specified timescales.
- Work with colleagues to support apprentices with additional learning needs.
- Work with colleagues to support the wellbeing of learners.
- Adhere to all internal quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Adhere to internal and external health and safety requirements.
- Adhere to all requirements of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
- Undertake continuous professional development in relation to occupational competence as well as teaching and assessment practices.
- Participate in standardisation and sharing of best practice within and across delivery teams.
- Adhere to the Education Workforce Council (EWC) Code of Professional Conduct and Practice.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

Up to £30,000.00 per year
