Apera Asset Management LLP ("Apera") is a leading pan-European private debt fund manager, with offices in London, Munich, Paris and Luxembourg.

We are seeking to add a qualified bookkeeper, accounts payable practitioner or recently qualified or part qualified accountant to our fast-paced finance team. The position will be based in London and will report directly to a Finance Manager with exposure to the Luxembourg Finance Director.

The candidate will assist the Management Companies Finance function with tasks including:

Responsible for accounts payable (posting invoices, obtain management approval, arrange payments)

Responsible for accounts receivable (preparing and posting outgoing invoices, liaise with the fund finance team for payment of these)

Post bank data and reconcile banks in the accounting ledger

Support the monthly consolidation process, incl. taking ownership for areas such as expenses, accruals and fixed assets

Help to implement new technologies and systems to automate the above processes

Qualifications:

Part qualified or recently qualified bookkeeper, accounts payable practitioner or accountant

Excellent Excel skills

Strong work ethic with a 'can do' attitude, keen to get involved in all aspects of the Finance Team

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficient English speaker
