Are you looking for a short-term role starting in the new year to support a hugely impactful not for profit organisation? Are you enticed by working outside IR35? Are you looking for a huge amount of flexibility in the way you work?

My client is a thriving not for profit organisation with a huge impact on local residents and businesses in the Surrey area.

Owing to some internal change, they are now on the lookout for an Interim Head of Finance - Part or Full Time to join them on aninitial four-month contract.

Key responsibilities include:

Taking sole charge of finance, managing all transactions and regular payments, and keeping the core accounting software up to date and accurate at all times
Preparing for year end and audit and ultimately lead them through the closure of accounts
Monitoring regular donations and ensuring they are allocated accordingly
Attending Board, and Finance and Investment Committee meetings where necessary
Dealing with any finance queries that arise internally and being the sole point of contact for finance.

Please note that due to the small company exemption, this role can be worked outside of IR35.

This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to take on either part time (three days minimum) or full-time work for a short period, to provide a crucial service to an organisation with a huge scope of influence in the short term.

Ideally be fully qualified, though those with strong experience at qualified level should still apply
Be comfortable in both dealing with the detail of Charity finance as well as interacting at Board level
Have experience in Charity Finance, ideally in a sole charge role.
