We are looking for a Quality Assurance Tester t join the team at Chambers.Main
Responsibilities:
- Create test plans and test cases for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions
- Help define the overall testing strategy and supporting artefacts for Chambers
- Automate tests where possible, building up a relevant regression pack for rapid execution
- Assist in the coordinating penetration tests as required
- Create test exit reports and recommendation for release
- Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
- Define and execute end to end tests
- Work with development team to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented.
- Use QA tools to manage test cases, test results, and defects
- Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
- Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
- Automate tests where possible using industry best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the team
- Contribute to the team's ability to make and deliver on their commitments
- Understand the existing manual test cases and can quickly translate them into automated test cases
- Demonstrable professional SQA experience
- ISTQB Test foundation level certification
- Experience in test automation using Selenium
- Development and management of function level test cases, regression test cases, and test plans according to feature requirements
- Very passionate about cracking the software, finding defects and ensuring the software quality
- Programming skills (.Net, JavaScript)
- Good SQL knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Highly driven, positive attitude, team player, selfmotivated and very flexible
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting
- Good time management skills
- Knowledge of agile methodology
- Prioritisation skills to handle fast passed dynamic environment
- Worked in a consumer facing industry (ideally publishing, media or data)
- Able to initiate and deliver test improvement programmes, enhancing ways of working and principles for the team
- Passionate about technology and the quality of solutions we are designing.
- Able to clearly communicate with business and technology stakeholders.
