    Description

    Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and passionate full-time Psychology Teacher to join an Ofsted-rated 'Good' secondary school in Hyde starting in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students in the fascinating subject of psychology, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking.

    Key information:

    • This will be a full-time role.
    • Salary: £30,000 to £46,525 per annum.
    • Start date: 2nd of September 2024.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective psychology lessons to secondary school students.
    • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
    • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and educational strategies.
    • Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.
    • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.

    Requirements:

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Degree in Psychology or a related field.
    • Experience teaching psychology at the secondary level is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
    • Strong knowledge of the psychology curriculum and assessment methods.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
    • A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and continuous professional development.
