Description

Our client, a global name in Pharmaceuticals, is one of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK, and they are looking to hire a Supplier Quality Manager to join their team.

Responsibilities

Primary Process Owner for QAAs.
Customise, review, and negotiate QAAs with critical suppliers and other affiliates and define quality requirements.
Participation in the Global Community of Practice to exchange with other colleagues on the topic of QAAs.
Conduct a repeat review of all QAAs.
Maintenance of an overview list of all existing contracts.
Close exchange with purchasing department and other stakeholders.
Support procurement with the classification of new suppliers.
Determine the type of evaluation/reevaluation required for new and existing suppliers.
Conduct Supplier audits/evaluations as and when required.
Approve changes to the approved supplier list.
Conduct an annual reevaluation of suppliers against supplier KPIs.
Participate in the Supplier Quality Board.

Requirements:

Degree in Life Sciences, Quality or Equivalent and Internal auditor qualification
Experience in Supplier Quality Management in the medical device or diagnostics industry expertise in IVDs preferred
Knowledge and understanding of medical device quality system requirements
Working with confidential information
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory affairs, especially European and GB regulations
Maintenance of quality documentation
Experience in QAA processes required for Economic Operator compliance with IVDR
Contract negotiating
Experience managing suppliers
Familiarity with supplier qualification standards for example ISO
Effective negotiation skills
Effective Team Player
Effective internal and external stakeholder engagement skills
Business fluent in English
Attention to detail
Excellent Organisation skills
Quality Management systems

Location:
Burgess Hill, Hybrid 3 days per week in office

Salary:
£ £ PAYE Basic or £ £357.10 LTD/UMB per day

Full Time

12 Month Contract Outside of IR35
