Senior REVIT MEP Coordinator Job, London:
This consultancy is looking for a Senior Revit Co-Ordinator to join the London design team.

You will be capable of producing MEP Modelling in Revit ensuring that all model work, including MEP Systems and Revit families are fully co-ordinated.

Main Responsibilities

Advanced understanding of BIM standards, Revit, and addin packages
Fully understands schematic design and is able to design from a schematic and to amend/ update the schematic
Able to spatially layout plant rooms and strategise the main distribution logistics
Good understanding of BIM standards, Revit, and addin packages
Has a good engineering design capability
Capable of:
Duct work/pipe work sizing
Understands MEP systems and types
Understands items such as:
System velocities and the associated pressure drops
MEP best practice
Pipework expansion
System venting
Supports (pipework/duct work, riser, plant,)
Maintenance access requirements generally
Electrical requirements such as containment, access needs, cable bending radiuses,
Understands drainage falls, access needs
Understands build ability from a services installation point of view (will understand which services.) and from a building fabric point of view (will know the difference between a shear wall/block work wall, will understand fire compartmentation etc )
Fire will understand fire stopping requirements, smoke and fire damper installation/support and access requirements,)
