    Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a hands on, people centric Head of HR for our well established Offshore business. This is an exciting and fast paced role serving our valued customers in the Offshore space and will report to our UK HR Director with a dotted line into the MD for Offshore.

    As Head of HR, you will be integral to the success of our Offshore business and form part of the offshore leadership team. You will be responsible for both strategic and operational HR delivery embedding our Vision, Mission & Values. You will drive the HR agenda and UK People Plan within our Offshore business whilst ensuring the provision of Operational HR services is delivered to a high standard.

    This is a permanent and full-time position which will be based in our Aberdeen HQ, AB21 0BH.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Business partner with the SLT and employees to provide leadership, direction and robust HR advice, mentoring and coaching
    • Build engagement, capability and HR skills across the offshore teams through facilitation, guidance, and implementation of appropriate training and people focussed initiatives
    • Support with the delivery of the overall people strategy and vision to add value to the overall business measuring against set metrics
    • Monitor and mitigate Aramark's risk in the area of employee relations and develop co-operative working relationships with external partners, UK trade unions and industry bodies
    • Lead the local in-country HR support team and continuously determine the appropriate HR Operations delivery structure and scope of service
    • Represent Aramark at relevant Industry bodies and employer associations, such as COTA and Offshore Energy UK,
    • Carry out COTA HR lead negotiator role on rotation within UK, will annual responsibility for negotiations as part of the COTA negotiating committee
    • Support with people resourcing working closely with our internal talent team to ensure we drive talent attraction and retention
    • Design and implement people development plans to continuously improve our operations
    • Drive organisational development including advising and providing the framework to manage restructuring and employee development activities
    • Lead on a number of essential HR processes such as large-scale change management and transformation projects, mobilisations, complex volume Employee Relations matters and TUPE
    • Work cross functionally with the UK teams and in particular sales to support people tender activity for new business and retention
    • Work with senior colleagues to ensure companywide processes and procedures are fit for purpose, compliant and embedded across the business

    Key requirements:

    • Qualified by experience or CIPD qualified
    • Experience and knowledge of European HR and legislation
    • Experience drawing from the Oil and Gas sector and operating at senior stakeholder level
    • Knowledge / experience of working in a unionised environment
    • Good understanding of and experience in business expansion and the mobilisation of contracts, TUPE, and commercial considerations
    • Excellent communication skills including delivering engaging presentations and senior level coaching.
    • Willing to be BOSIET/MIST/EBS certified and be willing to conduct offshore visits
