We are looking for an administrator to work in the Atos BPs 1st Line Risk function based in Edinburgh.


The area is responsible for monitoring, testing and reporting on the efficiency of the operation of a wide range controls, including the compliance with Policy and regulatory standards across Atos BPS 1st Line business units.

Delivery is measured against a set of internal and external KPIs.

The role has a significant risk management element to it and the team are required to work within a robust risk and controls framework.


Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • As a risk champion, you will monitor and test the effective operation of risk and controls and compliance with standards, including Financial Crime, Data Protection, Finance controls and IT system audits
Perform reconciliations and carry out in-depth investigations to understand and articulate actions needed to resolve exceptions

Prepare and issue analysis reports identifying trends and progressing actions

Participate in cross department working groups to help resolve issues and drive improvements

Establish and maintain key relationships with Atos business units, including 2nd Line Risk to, drive improvements in working processes and controls

Triage referrals and queries from business areas and provide a decision or mentorship

Provide support and training to colleagues to help with their learning


Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication, which is clear and suited to audience

Excellent PC skills including MS office and in particular MS excel and MS Powerpoint

Ability to work on own initiative and be self motivated

Accuracy in performing tasks

Standout colleague who demonstrates good teamwork

Demonstrates excellent time management skills, well planned and organised. Easily adapts to changing priorities

Ability to plan and work to tight deadlines without compromising accuracy

Positive & flexible attitude

Ability to Influence colleagues and key partners in a Tactful Manner

Experience of working in a customer service role, claims experience would be useful

Good understanding of Share point and OSX

Experience in quality testing other people's work

Experience undertaking analysis and preparing reports
