We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hard working labourer to do assembly work, machine operating and loading at an extremely busy engineering company based near Pocklington, East Yorkshire.

The engineering company manufactures equipment for the agricultural industry and has grown massively over the last 2 years. There order book is already full into next year and they have some fantastic expansion plans to export worldwide.

Overview of Role:

The role will involve working in various departments, such as grinding and sanding metal parts, loading machinery with material, going to the stores and finding material and parts for the skilled engineers, assisting engineers with certain tasks, assemblyand machine operating.

We are looking for applicantswho are reliable, safety conscious while delivering high quality of work.

Desirable skills and knowledge:

Own transport is a must due to the location
Knowledge of using hand, power and air/hand tools
Read and Write
Lifting and Slinging
Flexible to learn new skills
Forklift experience and license desirable but not essential

Working Schedule:
Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm, Friday 8am to 3.15pm. 40-hour weeks.

Overtime is paid at time and a half after 40 hours per hour. Overtime is available after training and there is a lot available.
