Job overview:


Support the Front Door Services Lead in the management and smooth running of the administration functions of the Front Door Services and day to day management of staff.


To support the trusts informatics team in co-ordinating information processes and data to performance management, data quality and service development and clinical systems.

The post holder will be the focal point for information and contractual data

To undertake specific duties as directed in line with the remit of this post


Main duties of the job:


Manages and supervises all admin staff within the front door services including management of absence, annual leave and cover arrangements.

Responsible for recruitment and selection of administration staff within front door services and local induction. Has responsibility for all training and development needs, supervision and appraisal of administration staff including Personal Development plans.

Working closely with the Front Door Services Lead and information department in satisfying data/information requests, routinely and as required.

Co-ordinate data flows, maintaining strong communication links, receiving a variety of information relating to the business of the service line.

Produce reports and represent at local and service line meetings where appropriate. Where applicable to undertake word processing of correspondence, reports, agendas and minutes. Produce other documents and presentations using the most appropriate element of Microsoft Office.

To prepare, deliver and participate in organisational meetings, to feedback to the team and act on action points.


Support the Team Manager in service developments and service changes with the sourcing, researching and provision of accurate and relevant information.

Data quality - monitor data quality by generating reports to analyse where there are gaps in information that require action in order to validate data quality and advice and support the clinical services on improving data quality.
