This is an exciting opportunity to join Thirteen Group as their Director of Governance.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the successful candidate will oversee the delivery of Governance services, which will include; Company Secretariat duties, Governance and Executive support, Compliance, Risk and Assurance, Safeguarding, Legal, and Procurement, ensuring that such services fully comply with statutory and regulatory requirements and the Group's Strategic ambitions.

Reporting to the Audit and Risk Committee on all matters of Compliance and Assurance.

Lead on Business Continuity Planning and work alongside the Director of IT, Data and Cyber Security in support of Thirteen's Disaster Recovery Plan.

Ensure the Group is delivering it's procurement activities, ensuring good practice and value for money is achieved whilst complying with statutory requirements, guidance, standing orders/financial regulations.

Take a co-regulatory approach to ensuring that Thirteen is meeting its Regulatory Standards (including consumer standards).

Thirteen Group is looking to appoint a senior leader who has the following attributes;

Direct management and development experience of senior professional colleagues within a Governance function.
Strong business management skills and understanding of delivering excellent customer service.
Excellent programme and project management skills.
