    Job Advertisement: Project Manager & Estimator - Architectural Construction Sector
    Location: Stevenage

    Salary: £40,000-£70,000 DOE
    Are you an experienced Project Manager and Estimator with a knack for architectural
    construction projects? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join a developing business
    taking charge of managing projects while estimating costs effectively. This is a unique
    opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where quality craftsmanship are paramount.
    About Us:
    Our client has been operating for 60 years, but in recent years has developed into the
    construction sector specialising in bespoke metal fabrication solutions. With a strong
    reputation for quality and reliability they handle a variety of projects ranging from railings and
    balustrades to bespoke gates and structural components.
    Key Responsibilities:

    ● Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and
    budgets are adhered to.

    • Estimate project costs accurately, considering materials, labour, and other expenses.
    • Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project requirements
    and provide solutions.
    ● Oversee fabrication processes, including welding, painting, and galvanising, ensuring
    quality standards are maintained.
    ● Utilise software such as SolidWorks, Inventor 3D AutoCAD, and CAD for design and
    project management tasks (training can be provided)
    ● Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure work meets safety and quality
    standards.
    ● Collaborate with the fabrication and assembly teams to optimise manufacturing
    processes and improve efficiency.
    ● Assist in the development of marketing materials and case studies to showcase
    completed projects.
    Requirements:
    • Previous experience in project management and estimation.
    • Architectural and/or construction experience would be a big advantage.
    • Proficiency in CAD software, this could include SolidWorks, Inventor 3D AutoCAD,
    and similar tools.
    ● Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques, including welding and sheet
    metal work.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients confidently.
    • A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
    • Experience with marketing and advertising initiatives is advantageous.
