    We are looking for a Surveyor or a Senior Surveyor to join our Development South team based in Bristol.

    JLL's Development South team work across all property sectors, advising both public and private sector clients. Key focus areas are:
    - Support delivery of client objectives through development of real estate
    - Work closely with clients to optimise project design, feasibility, delivery and value
    - Undertake in-depth market analyses to inform development, funding and delivery strategies, co-ordinating inputs from specialist teams as required
    - Advise on optimum land assembly, planning, development, procurement and delivery strategies for complex mixed-use regeneration projects
    - Undertake / oversee site acquisitions and disposals from start to finish including advice on appropriate transaction structures to optimise outcomes
    - Make effective introductions in respect of site acquisition opportunities, negotiate heads of terms, liaise with lawyers and monitor transactions until completion Identify, procure and negotiate effective relationships with development partners, investors and end users
    - Identify / target new development and business opportunities
    - Prepare development appraisals and cash flows to demonstrate project viability (using ARGUS and Excel)
    - Lead pitches to win new business and respond to requests for proposals
    - Engage specialist sub-consultants and lead / support multi-disciplinary teams and colleagues to advise on development projects

    The ideal candidate will possess the following:

    • MIRCS qualification

    • Knowledge of South West region development market preferred but not essential

    • Knowledge of development process preferred

    Experience of working for private and public sector clients preferred but not essential

    • Consultancy experience

    • Working knowledge of Argus Developer preferred

    • Ability / interest in generating own work load

    • Ability to work as a team, support colleagues and deputise for the Director as required

    • Strong / articulate verbal and written communication / presentation skills
