Description
We are now seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Manager to join our team.Vanguard Healthcare Solutions Modular is part of Vanguard Healthcare Solutions Limited which was established in 1999. A UK-Based, privately owned, international provider of infrastructure and clinical services supporting healthcare clients worldwide.
Our purpose-designed and built mobile and modular facilities provide our clients with new or replacement healthcare spaces including operating theatres, endoscopy suites and sterilisation and diagnostic departments.
As part of our solution to our clients we also support them with clinical teams and equipment for our facilities.
We are looking for a hybrid Operations and Maintenance Manager to join our Operations Team, based across the UK.Responsibilities
Manage the maintenance for our mobile and modular facilities that are contracted to client sites
To be the key contact to provide engineering support to our Clinical Services Managers and on-site Unit Facilitators, as well as our client estates representatives
Provide engineering support and advice to the Operational Support Team around items such as work orders, contractor reports and costs
For significant maintenance works, the post holder may be required to attend site to provide management support on behalf of Vanguard
Produce RAMS for any works to be completed by the Vanguard Operations Team that have been directly arranged by the post holder
Work with the Project Team at the handover stage to ensure familiarity with the project and to take ownership of the maintenance of the facilities
Development – to act as a competent person / authorised person for various disciplines (medical gas, water, electrical, ventilation)

Requirements
Management experience in engineering, construction, or any other technical industry (or development from a supervisory position)
Experience managing contractors and inspecting works
Technical problem-solving skills and ability to improvise and adapt
Ability to manage, motivate, and support contractors or colleagues to achieve desired outcomes
Able to process technical information through conversation or written reports to make informed decisions
Driving license and willingness to travel
HTM – HBN Healthcare regulation awareness
